Welcome to www.copelin.co.uk!
My website was originally intended to be a place
where I could put up examples of my work to act as an online "portfolio"
of my programming projects I did while at University. But, over the
course of a few months it expanded into a site with four distinct
areas
to it:
- Travel - a photographic guide to
places where the Copelins have travelled to
- Programming - a growing collection
of programming tutorials
- Garden - a gallery of photos of our
garden
- Jonathan - my online portfolio of
my projects
There are a number of guestbooks that you can sign;
the main guestbook is accessible from the contents list on the left
hand side of the page and each portal has its own dedicated guestbook.
If you want to write a guide to a place you have
been to, then please get in touch with us, we would be delighted
to add it to the collection. I am planning on adding a discussion
forum so that people can post their own guides without first having
to submit them to the Webmaster.
We hope that all our visitors enjoy their visit
and find the information on the site useful.
Regards
Jonathan Copelin

The forum is now online! You can access
it by clicking on the link in the site contents box on
the left hand side. Please let me know what you think
of it, I am hoping to "skin" it once I know that it is
working correctly. Also, expect some more photos to be
uploaded to the galleries fairly soon - I have a backlog
of photos sitting in my "to do" folder that I am determined
to
process.

Watch this space!
I have had about 700 negatives scanned from our trips
to the Kruger National
Park in the 80's which I am processing ready to put in
the travel section! You should see some of the photos
appearing over the next month or so. Ian has also given
me his collection of photos from his
trips
to the
Caribbean, so keep a close eye on the travel pages!

WILD VISITORS to the garden! The number
of birds visiting the garden has increased while the
country has its coldest weather for quite a while. Most
of them were caught on camera, including the Deer munching
away at the flowers! I also managed to get a photo of
the Canada geese when they landed for a couple of minutes
on the green opposite our house. You can find all of
the photos in the Wild
Visitors section of the garden
gallery.
